Haha. Woooow. So I ended 2 post ago about me going over to GuoZhi’s House to stay, and I did. Hahaha. Well, we went there and we play Mahjong. Hahaha. Before supper (1am or so), I’d already lost $16 bucks. Haha OUCH. Seriously. Anyway, suppered and all. Sapped all my Singapore dollars I wanted to bring to Bintan for precautionary measures. Hahah.

Hmm, I stopped Mahjonging, and they continued. We didn’t sleep. Hahaha.

Day ONE

So morning arrived, and we left for Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal around 7.32am. Hahah. (I remember because we were supposed to be fined.) Hahaha.

So we were all there, gathered and chatting already.

Time dragged along, and well the ferry was due to leave around 8.50pm I think. So we were handed our white passes, boarding passes etc. Some of us checked in our luggages and well we hand carried the rest onto the ferry; Falcon 3. Hahah.

Hmm. Well, the Falcon isn’t as impressive as it sounds. Nevertheless, it gets you to Bintan. Haha. Well, I don’t have any pictures to do justice to what I just said though. Hahaha.

Though, on our way there I thought this view looked extremely nice.

Well we arrived and we walked towards our bus/coach for our trip! Well, it definitely was something new. Hahaha.

Hahaha. Hmm, no aircon. And leg space is 1/2 of that of our usual bus in Singapore. Haha. Body space was a little crammer too. Hahah. But this we got through without a problem, maybe expect some occasional complaints because of the unbearable heat.

Well, we got to shop on the first day already. Most of us, I would say, didn’t buy anything. Haha. Personally, nothing unique that caught my attention. Hahah. So anyway, we went around and our time was up. We were headed to the orphanage for our first visit!

Oh we had a horrible lunch for a start! hahaha. All of us were horrified by it. It wasn’t that bad. But it wasn’t good either. Haha, most of us had some complaints of sorts.

After a grueling hour of travel we arrived at the orphanage we were painting. Haha. Hmm, well it was rather old looking and the conditions were bad. I wouldn’t say horrible or anything. But obviously we’re many times more fortunate.

Haha. Hmm, so after getting some information and finalising what we were painting we left on another sweltering journey to our resort! Haha. The hour and half trip was torturous. Hahah. When we arrived everyone was relieved. We collected our luggages and now came the moment of truth, the place we were living in for the next three days!.

I can’t believe I didn’t capture the hut BEFORE we entered. Hahaha. So nothing much to say. But I would say the conditions were alright . Though complaints I surely have. Hahaha.

I think after that we settled down. Took our baths, and dinner. Dinner was much better then lunch! Soon it was free time. hahaha. Some card games, talking and we were off to sleep around 1-2am Singapore time.

Day TWO

Hahaha. Woow! I woke up, washed up and off I was to take pictures of the scene around the hut. Hahah. So here goes!

After which we chatted for a short while, and off we were to paint the orphanage! hahaha.

Haha. So  the day went by and we finished painting the building and furniture in them. After which we basically left to shop for a while and we went back for dinner. Soon the day ended, and we had free time. So some of us gathered together and played. Soon after we slept and the 3rd day had arrived.
